Content is king. How many times have you heard that?

It’s a cliche because it’s true.

Regular content is the key to growing your reach and positioning yourself as an authority in your industry.

Your content is how people discover you, how they get to know you, find out what you’re good at, and how you can help them.

When people understand how you can make their life easier, more comfortable, more fun, more profitable - that’s when you start to see more sales and more income.

But we’re busy. I get it, creating content is just another task on your already overflowing To-Do list.

So let’s lighten your load with 3 ways to simplify your content and increase your sales!

Bite-sized content.

Short-form videos, carousel posts, tweet threads, and listicles are all top performers in the content space, and for good reason.

Your followers are busy, distracted, and seduced by every bright shiny object that comes their way.

And I am too. It’s normal now.

Simple content that can be actioned easily will get the attention of potential customers, give them quick wins and prove you can help them, making selling your product or service much easier.

So take those long blog posts you’ve already written and repurpose them as:

  • Quick videos for Reels, Shorts, and Tok Tok,
  • Tweet threads or Carousels sharing one point at a time
  • List-based articles for Medium, or LinkedIn
  • Power posts for Facebook or Instagram

Template Calls to Action.

Is your content getting you results, or is it just disappearing into the abyss after you put it out there?

Content that works for you encourages people to take another step - leave a comment, send you a DM, sign up for your email list, purchase your product or book your service.

Take a look at your last 10 pieces of content. Have you encouraged your reader or viewer to take that next step with you?

Templates are the easy way to never forget to do this.

It can be as simple as writing Call to Action paragraphs in your Notes app on your phone, and copy & pasting them onto the end of your Instagram captions.

Or writing up a blurb on a Google Doc to copy & paste at the end of your weekly LinkedIn Article.

Or a one-liner at the bottom of your email signature that tells people to download your free resource.

Give up trying to be perfect.

There is nothing that will hold you back more than trying to create perfect content.

It takes too long, it’s not enjoyable, and no one resonates with perfection, so it’s killing your sales.

Just be you. Share what you’re learning, sell what you’re good at. Try new things, stick with the ones that are working. If it feels good, do more of it.

There are millions of people online, and you only need a few to love what you do enough to book you or buy from you. So let go of the need for perfection, bring a little more ease and fun into your content creation, and enjoy the momentum and results it brings.
